Position Title Supervisor
Golf Course Laborer Golf Superintendent

Statement of Position & Description

Works with full time employees and is primarily responsible for maintenance of greens, maintenance of equipment and other duties as assigned.

Hours/Schedule of Work Overtime Exempt?
40hrs a week for no more than 6 months, or, Part-time 39 hrs a week year round.

Works a variable schedule which includes: evenings, nights, weekends, & Holidays

Position Functions

Assists with all grounds maintenance, equipment maintenance, shop maintenance, tournaments, and other duties as needed.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

1.   Mow, top dresses and maintains greens

2.   Perform grounds maintenance to equipment

3.   Applies insecticides, herbicides, and fertilizers

4.   Perform preventive maintenance to equipment

5.   Maintains driving range and related equipment

6.   Maintains and operates irrigation systems

7.   Golf cart maintenance

8.   Maintains and manages equipment and supply inventory

9.   Assists in training part time employees in ground maintenance  

Required Qualifications

1.    Minimum 18 yrs of age

2.    Valid OK drivers license/good driving record

3.    Some equipment and tool experience

4.    Flexibility in scheduling

5.    Pre-employment physical & drug screen, and criminal history check.  

Preferred Qualifications

1.   Equipment maintenance skills

2.   Experience working in recreation facility

3.   Experience with tools and equipment preferred
