Position Functions
Firefighters will be actively engaged in all fire
department operations or incidents and see that all equipment is returned
to operation after an incident. Will compete any and all other duties
assigned to him/her

3. Operate equipment & apparatus
4. Service & repair equipment & apparatus
5. Use good safety practices
6. Fight all types of fires
7. Others as assigned by supervisor
8.Attend fire
meetings & training classes
Required
Qualifications
1.High school
2.Meet Firefighter Pension requirements
3.Age 18-45 for Fire Pension
4.Valid OK Drivers License with good record
5.Must live within 4 driving miles of City limits
6.Provide physicians release, pass physical agility test, drug
screen,
and criminal history check
7.Ability to respond to ‘toned’ fire alarms
Preferred
Qualifications
3 yr firefighter experience
Knowledge in rescue tactics
Knowledge in structural firefighting technique
Knowledge in wild land fire fight tech
