Water Options Presented by Garver Engineering

Lake Bulldozer Usage

The City of Clinton is taking proactive steps in its water issues at Clinton Lake. The Council recently approved a staff recommended bulldozer rental to begin removing land from the exposed bed of the lake.

The Police Station, also known as the first floor of City Hall, is getting a long over-due remodel thanks to voters at the recent election.

Fire Station Renderings

The New Fire Station project continues to see progress. After being approved by voters at the last election, the City Council recently approved city manager Steve Hewitt's recommendation to utilize GLMV Architects' services for the building. Property has been purchased for the site, and now plans and renderings were provided by architect GLMV at a recent council meeting.

Clinton Lake Issues

Lake water low after summer drought forces the City to halt production of water at the City facility and to utilize 100% Foss Lake produced water. This also resulted in an increase in water prices due to the increased cost of the Foss water at full usage.
