Oklahoma is quickly being recognized as the shipping, receiving and
storage hub of the inland United States. Clinton's unique feature of
being at the intersection of Interstate 40 and U.S. Highway 183 provides
excellent shipping and receiving to and from all
directions. In addition, Clinton is served by Rail
through the Farmrail/Grainbelt railroads.

provide extra incentives for business. A Double the Investment/New
Jobs Tax Credit is allowed and low interest loans may be made available

Clinton has six banks with assets totaling

Rail and Bus Availability
Clinton has one bus carrier. Rail service is available from Farmrail
and Grainbelt railroads, which operate five local trains daily.
Express and Motor Freight
Four motor freight companies operate terminals in Clinton, including two
express carriers. United Parcel Service also operates a terminal in
the city.

Custer County is home to Southwestern OK State University, a regional
state university. In Custer County, 75.1% of persons over 25 years
of age have a high school diploma and 20.4% are college graduates.

addition, Western Technology Center provides specialized training for
